Semcon becomes a Dassault Systèmes’ training partner
Semcon is strengthening its partnership with Dassault Systèmes and has signed a training partner agreement. The agreement allows Semcon to provide CATIA V5, CATIA V4 and ENOVIA SMARTEAM training and strengthens Semcon’s PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) range.
“Currently, there is greater demand for specialist training, especially for PLM solutions,” says Johan Elliot, Manager at Semcon Engineering Solutions. “The Dassault Systèmes agreement allows us to give our customers broader and more comprehensive training packages. We have created a training department dedicated to mapping out our customers’ training requirements.”
“I believe Semcon has a lot to gain by investing in training. It is an opportunity to get closer to customers and really understand their needs, both in terms of skills and systems. There are major financial gains for customers that work according to the correct methodology,” says Peter Krantz, Business Development Manager, Dassault Systèmes.
PLM
PLM is when the entire product lifecycle is digitized. Product development processes are streamlined, manufacturing is optimized and customer support improved, by creating a common data structure across different software systems.
